Thanks Karen for the uploading. Like we said in the class, the purpose of experimental research is to determine the effect and extent of the researcher´s intervention by using an experimental and a control group. It is in that regard that it has some similarity with Action Research but the latter is mostly done locally, in a classroom, in relation to specific teaching contents.
